1. FIGURE OUT YOUR NICHE/PERSONAL BRAND⠀
What do you want to promote that you’re about? This should be real. What do you like to do? What are some of your interests? What makes you unique? Are you in expert at anything? What’s the first thing that comes to mind when someone is describing you? Answer these questions and you will find you niche/brand.⠀
2. CREATE YOUR BRAND TOPICS THAT PROVIDE VALUE TO YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE⠀
Write down 3-5 brand topics you want to cover on Instagram that have to do with your chosen niche (and would be interesting to your chosen audience). Make sure you have a personal connection with these things. These should be things you do almost every day and you should have a passion for them.⠀
3. AESTHETIC & CONSISTENT POSTING⠀
People want to know that they can rely on your account. If they aren’t getting any value from you, they are out. Post 2-3X a week, at least at the beginning. Also create an aesthetic, whether it be alternating color, theme, or your chosen brand topics. When people come to your profile, it will look pleasing to the eye and therefore more likely to feel good about your profile. It will also entice them to click on a photo, read your value based content, and want to follow you for more.⠀
When someone comes to your profile and understands completely who you are, what you’re about, and what you will be posting - they can be clearer about whether or not they want to follow you. And the clearer you are, the more followers.⠀
